Stop in anytime Monday-Friday from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m for your completely free, professional estimate of the cost to repair your vehicle. Our professionals will take pictures of your automobile, write the estimate for you, and, it’s either handed to you before you leave, or we can email it straight to you. We make it quick and easy to see what the repair cost will be. No appointment needed.

After you’ve received your estimate, all you have to do is give us a call at 502-425-0878 to schedule your vehicle drop off to us. We will have you sign a work order, which allows us to begin your repairs. You then give us your keys, any insurance information, or payment for parts, and we begin ordering parts and working with your insurance (if applicable). We will even give you a mini detail, just to say thanks!

Your vehicle is complete and ready for pick up!

When your vehicle is completed and ready for pick up, we will call you to let you know. We will show your vehicle to you when you show up, and we know you will love it! At this time, your deductible, any insurance checks, and payment will be collected. We recommend cash, or a cashier’s check to cover payment, as our credit card processor adds an addition 3% of your total to your bill.

In 1976, a young entrepreneur named Bob Shelburne started Shelburne’s Body Shop on Lydon Lane. He was very successful, and had a loyal, wonderful customer base. Fast forward to 2010, when Mr. Shelburne needed help in his shop, and he came across a young painter named Tom Whitney, and hired him to paint the vehicles for him. Tom ultimately ended up leaving Mr. Shelburne to begin his own business, Rapid Bumper Repair and Collision, LLC on Valley Station Road. Leaping ahead to 2024, Mr. Shelburne decides it’s time to enjoy life, play golf, and not have so many worries anymore, so he calls his former employee, Tom, and asks if he would like to take over running Shelburne’s Body Shop. Tom agreed to take Shelburne’s on, to continue the tradition of excellence Mr. Shelburne had created, and to add to his own business enterprise. Tom’s wife, Robyn, left her job in the pharmacy world, to help him run the 2 businesses more easily and successfully. The rest, as they say, is history. Mr. Shelburne is now playing golf, running his rental properties, and enjoying life. Tom and Robyn, together with their amazing team, are running Rapid Bumper Repair and Collision at Shelburne’s Body Shop, LLC, successfully and happily (and are indeed carrying on that tradition of excellence!).
